This time around I have something really special to share; Neal gave me permission to start testing the Double Scorpio product line! Double Scorpio is the biggest thing to hit the solvent cleaner market since the invention of poppers in the 1970s, so this should be interesting. I started my Double Scorpio testing with the Amber product. This is the lower end of the gem and metal based line up (I don’t really know yet where Black fits in) with Emerald, Sapphire, Black, and Gold products rounding out the lineup and in roughly that order I believe. To be completely honest, I had tried Double Scorpio before, but only the limited edition holiday variety and I didn’t care for my poppers being Pumpkin Spice scented. And they’d been open awhile and didn’t really rock me, so I was a skeptical tester so to speak.
Wow! I was very pleasantly surprised and pleased with my experience with Double Scorpio Amber! This is a very low odor product so at first I was kind of wondering if anything was going to happen. And then there it was, not a ramp up, rather just an effortless jump up to the plateau. Not overwhelming, certainly not the “strongest,” although I question what that even means at times, but also not anything I would describe as subtle or low/medium strength.
My experience of Double Scorpio Amber almost defies words and as you know Xavier loves his words. It was an elevation, no, like a transporter, suddenly there where you want to be, not jolted, just transferred. And it was a very nice place to be, an excellent platform, not too high, not too low, just perfect. This was a long lasting plateau so you don’t need a lot of product to get there and stay there. The come down was gentle as well. This was the Bentley of solvent cleaner experiences. Smooth as opposed to subtle, a ride you won’t forget and like nothing you’ve had before.
So, let’s take the bull by the horns and head on address everyone’s complaint: Double Scorpio is SO expensive on your site. Double Scorpio Amber 10ml is a concentrated isobutyl nitrite solvent cleaner. Double Scorpio Amber solvent cleaner is also commonly referred to as “poppers.” Double Scorpio Amber can be used for a variety of cleaning situations that require the unique power and properties of a solvent based cleaner. Suggested uses include but are not limited to: cleaning leather stains, removing scuffs and residue from car bumpers, and removing bug residue from car windshields, bumpers, grills, etc,.
Wear gloves when using a solvent cleaner such as Double Scorpio Amber. Dip a cotton swab into the Double Scorpio Amber solvent and apply to the area to be cleaned. As with any cleaner, first use it on a small area to ensure compatibility.
This product contains isobutyl nitrite, CAS 542-56-3 / UN2351, and is lawfully manufactured, labeled, marketed, and sold for use as specialty commercial solvent cleaner in compliance with 15 U.S. Code § 2057a, § 2057b. Although referred to by its street name as Double Scorpio Amber poppers, this product is not offered for sale as ‘poppers’, ‘sex inhalant’, ‘liquid incense, ‘liquid aroma’ or any other purpose that may be used for inhaling or otherwise introducing nitrites into the human body for euphoric or physical effects.
